Dale Cathy Rolph, 66, died peacefully on November 17, 2025.
Born in Somerville, to the late Roy and Marie Rolph nee Oriente, Dale was a graduate of Somerville High School, class if 1978
Dale’s professional journey saw her flourish in various roles, including a dedicated position as a Jack LaLane in childcare, where her nurturing nature was cultivated. She applied that to years of care for her cherished nieces and nephews as well as for her mother in the later years of her life.
For fifteen years, Dale worked at Dress Barn, where her keen sense of style and her personal touch made her a favorite figure. Recently she went on to work at Shop Rite of Branchburg, forming bonds with customers and associates, always making their day a little brighter with her smile.
Dale's personality was one marked by selflessness and a desire to care for others. She was always well-dressed and put together, reflecting her passion for fashion and shopping. Her joy came not only from her interests but also from the time she spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and a good glass of wine at home.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Roy and Marie Rolph.
Surviving are her loving siblings, Debra Horak and husband Rick, Denise LaFata and husband Robert, Roy T. Rolph, Jr. and wife Cheryl, and Lisa Nicoletti, her cherished nieces an nephews Kelly, John, Christian, Angela, Dina, Alexis and Mariella, her four great nieces and nephews, her dear friend Pat Salamone, as well as her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00AM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following at 11:00AM at The Church of The Immaculate Conception, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
