Born in Coshocton on May 25, 1944, he was the son of the late Gurney and Virginia (Evans-Gordon) Spradlin. Dale served his country in the United States Air Force, completed his Masters Degree from Ashland University and after working many years, retired from American Electric Power. He was also a former member of Toastmasters International and Delaware Rotary Club, and mostly loved to travel.
Dale married the former Sondra Holt on April 5, 1999. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children Kathy Turner, Steve (Jenny) Spradlin and Stephanie Stevens all of Columbus, and Stacy Stevens of Utah; many grandchildren, one great grandson; and sister Candy McCombs of Coshocton. He is preceded in death by two brothers Chester Spradlin and Gregory Spradlin.
