Dall Weech Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Vining Funeral Home - Safford from Oct. 3 to Oct. 6, 2025.
Dall E Weech, D.D.S., M.S.D., a former resident of Pima, Arizona passed away peacefully at his home in Lehi, Utah on October 2, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born September 14, 1936 in Pima, Arizona, to loving parents, Arthur Ellis and Dorthea Jeanette Bryce Weech.
Dall graduated from Pima High School and served in the Chihuahua Mexico Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After attending Eastern Arizona Junior College, he graduated from the University of Arizona and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Science and Master of Science in Dentistry degrees from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Dall was a Captain in the United States Air Force and served as a Dental Officer in Germany. Following his military service, he met the love of his life, Brenda Gail Thompson. They were married on July 31, 1970 in Garland, Texas. He became a stepdad to Brenda's young daughter, Sherry. His love for the role of father continued to grow as their daughter, Rachel, was born and when two sons, Jared and Zachary, came to complete their family. Family was always very important to Dall and Brenda. Many vacations, including numerous trips to his beloved Mount Graham, as well as gatherings at Christmas, formed a strong foundation for loving family memories.
Dr. Weech practiced dentistry for 50 years, specializing in Children's Dentistry. His love for and patience with kids led to his successful dental practices in Denver, Colorado and in Tucson, Clifton and Safford, Arizona. Dall selflessly donated his time and expertise to provide essential dental care for children in Peru. Having learned to speak Spanish on his mission, he was able to converse with them in their native language. Dall was a very loving and giving man. During his lifetime, he came to the aid of many people who needed help, often anonymously. His deep faith in God and his love for the Church was a guiding force in his life.
Dall's beloved wife, Brenda, passed away in 2021. He was also preceded in death by his father, Ellis and his mother, Jeanette, his brothers, Wayne and Kenyon and his sisters, Venna Norton and Annabell Rufener. He is survived by his sister, Kathy Weech Webster, his brother-in-law, Ron Thompson, his children, Sherry Hunter, Rachel (Glenn) Mahoney, Jared (Missy) Weech and Zachary Weech. He will be missed by his grandchildren Alta, Taysen, Braylee, Branston, Keegan, Keira, Maliyah, Tyree and Turrell, as well as his great-grandchildren Leo, Makai, Luka, Tate and Tilly.
Funeral services for Dall will be conducted on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Pima Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Concluding services, with military honors, will follow in the Pima Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Saturday morning, October 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., in the Junior Sunday School room of the Pima Chapel.

Dr Weech was my childhood dentist. I saw him in Tucson, and I saw him in Safford. I adored him, I'm heartbroken to know that he's passed in the years since I last saw him, but that just shows how wonderful he was, where someone can still remember him and his kindness over 20 yrs later.
