in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

They were married on August 25, before he was deployed to Saigon, Vietnam to serve
as a Staff Sergeant in the 902nd Military Intelligence Group. After serving a tour in
Vietnam, he returned to DC to work for the Pentagon and CIA, where he received a
commendation for his untiring work as a Senior Enlisted Analyst.

Political Science from the University of Maryland and his law degree from Temple
Universitys James E. Beasley School of Law, Philadelphia, PA. He entered law
enforcement as a Criminal Investigator for the Philadelphia Office of the US Postal

Shelby to open Weech & Shelby, P.A., and finally separated to open the office of J.H.
Weech, Bankruptcy and Immigration Law.
In 1995, Jack closed his practice to enter the mission field. He and Joyce moved
to Morocco, and then to Malaga, Spain where Jack helped produce a Christian radio
broadcast to Northern Africa. After returning to the United States, he embarked on
another mission of sorts, working as a Public Defender before retiring at which point
he concentrated solely on helping those with immigration issues.

passed September 9, 2017 during Hurricane Irma. He is survived by his brother Leon
Weech, his sisters Gale Zamzow and Candice Esquinaldo, and his three daughters

His ancestors being some of the earliest settlers and founders of Key West, Jack
was proud of his Conch heritage, especially his mothers Cuban ancestry, and he blew
the conch shell every New Years Eve. Jack spoke English, Spanish, Arabic, and
Mandarin Chinese. He studied judo, and was a boxer and boxing referee, invited to
