Dalton wished for no traditional funeral,
but rather a celebration of the vibrant life he lived.
In honor of his passion for roping
and the joy he found in the rodeo arena,
we invite all who loved him to join us for a gathering
to celebrate his life and
what would have been his 20th birthday.
Bring your stories, pictures,
and memories as we share laughter,
tears, and the spirit of
Dalton's adventurous heart.
Let's come together to honor Dalton
by doing what he loved most-roping-
and to celebrate the beautiful life
he shared with all of us on this special day.

The following was lovingly written by
Dalton's family...
Dalton was a vibrant and adventurous
young man
whose life was deeply rooted in
family and the outdoors.
Born on March 15, 2006,
to Todd and Tonya Roberts,
he grew up surrounded by love
and a strong family network.
Dalton's spirit was reflected in his many interests-
from roping and hunting on his Papa's land
to spending time fishing and enjoying bonfires
under the open sky.
Dalton's love for rodeo
was a defining part of who he was.
He shared a special bond with his rodeo horse,
Peanut, and loved being in the arena
where he felt most alive.
His passion extended beyond competition;
as he matured, he took pride in educating his friends,
teaching them everything he knew
about rodeo and fitness.
He was equally dedicated to his time in the gym,
always working to improve and
inspire those around him.
Outside the arena,
Dalton enjoyed line dancing
and cherished his new truck,
affectionately nicknamed "Clifford."
He was also devoted to his blue heeler, Rowdy,
a loyal companion who was part of
his life adventures.
Family traditions brought him comfort,
especially his Mimi's oatmeal.
Dalton's entrepreneurial spirit shone
through in his co-ownership of
Roberts Environmental Services
alongside his best friend, his Dad, Todd,
a venture that reflected his strong work ethic
and commitment to family.
His family was a cornerstone of his life.
He shared a deep connection with
his sister Delaney Collins,
brother-in-law James Collins,
and nephew Oliver Collins.
His family grew with the addition
of his stepmother, Emily Roberts,
and sister, Charlotte Roberts.
His family extended through
his loving grandparents,
Granny Betty, Robert and Nola Lawley,
and Ronald and Shirley Roberts.
He also cherished his loving relationship with his
uncle Stoney Lawley and aunt Stacey Lawley.
Dalton believed that blood
didn't always make you family;
He cherished his friendship with
his hunting buddy,
best friend and at times room mate,
Connor Graham,
who he called his "brother".
Dalton graduated from
Charles Page High School in 2024,
a milestone that marked his
dedication and growth.
His legacy is one of passion,
love, and mentorship-
a young man who lived fully, loved fiercely,
and inspired those around him with his
knowledge and kindness,
and the majority of the time,
an abrasive banter that forced
you to smile and laugh;
nobody was safe from his teasing.
Though his time was too brief,
the memories of Dalton's laughter,
his adventurous spirit,
and his unwavering love for family and friends
will forever remain in the
hearts of those who knew him.
