Damante Antoine Davis, 41 years of age, passed away on August 3rd, 2025, in Atlanta, GA. Damante was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 15th, 1984, to Alyson (Hudson) Davis and Luther Davis. Damante was a devoted son and brother. He was close to his entire family.

At an early age, Damante showed he was gifted in mathematics, geography, and world events. Damante had a love of knowledge. He enjoyed watching the popular game show, Jeopardy, with his mother, and brother, Corey. He was quick to respond and correctly answer the difficult Jeopardy questions. No matter the topic, he would have some knowledge. He would respond, "I read it somewhere". It was amazing to witness. It was a family ritual. Something they started when they were young boys.

As a teenager, he excelled in his scholars, specifically in Mathematics. You would often find Damante watching NFL, cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals, or sitting behind the controls of his favorite video game, playing NBA, with the team that he created. He would indulge in his video game for hours each night, making moves on the court, as if in real life! His team consisted of some of his favorite players, like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. He had a vast collection of NBA cards with his favorite players!

Damante was considered a Foodie! He didn't mind cooking or trying different types of food. He and Corey cooked alternating on Sundays, for their mother, for family dinners. They worked well in the kitchen together.

Damante loved his father. They would get together, and talk about current affairs, sports and eat good food! They met up often, including Birthdays and Father's Day. They had a good father and son bond.

Damante was a diverse traveler! He loved to experience the cultures of different countries and experience the locals' activities and food. His adventures included: London, Spain, France, Africa, and much more! He was well cultured.

Damante loved his family!! He enjoyed spending time with his sisters Shaunta, Jacquelyn, Latonya and his brother, Luther Jr. He always watched out for his brother, Corey. They often provided each other guidance, advise, and support. They were close, often hanging out together. Corey, Damante, and several investors, opened a food business, Sammie's Bodega. Damante managed and was the chef at the bodega. Throughout his career, he also worked for Clark Atlanta University in the Accounting Department and ServiceMaster as a Franchise Support Specialist.

Damante, his brother, and their mother, Alyson, had a close relationship. Alyson and her sons, moved to Atlanta, GA, in the Spring of 2000, from Columbus, Ohio. They never looked back. The brothers are now together in Heaven, looking down on our family with peace and blessings.
