Damon M. Laizer

Damon M. Laizer, 28, passed away on December 21, 2021 in UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester.
He was born in Framingham in 1993, the son of Cynthia A. Dowen and the late Michael F. Laizer and he attended Walker School in Needham and Longview Farm in Walpole.
Damon worked as a line cook for many restaurants in the Framingham, Milford, and Marlborough area.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, the beach, gaming, basketball, football, the New England Patriots and the Boston sports scene. Damon loved his family and his dog Sebastian. He was a fiercely loyal friend who would do anything for anybody. He was especially devoted to his grandmother, Joan Dwight.
In addition to his mother Cindy, he is survived by 3 sisters Miranda Laizer of Whitinsville and Brandy Laizer and Devon Laizer both of FL; a brother Michael Gosselin of Uxbridge; 2 nieces Skyler Morrill and Lilly Laizer; 2 nephews Malakai Horton and Caiden Laizer; his step-father Dominic Moona and step-mother Sherry Laizer; a son, Aiden Gomez-Laizer; a paternal grandmother, Joan Dwight of Granby, MA; 2 uncles Paul McCall and Ron Bray; 2 aunts, Sherri Laizer and Dianne Chislett and her husband Jim. He also leaves his long-time mentor Jasper Lundrum.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 4-7PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in the Catholic Community of Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale St., Hopedale.
