Daniel “Dan” Christopher AnnaJuly 19, 1971 – April 25, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel “Dan” Anna on April 25, 2025. Born on July 19, 1971, to Terry and Mary Anna, Dan lived a life rooted in love, family, and the great Colorado outdoors.
Dan was the beloved husband of Julie Anna, with whom he shared nearly 23 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising two cherished children—Davin Anna, currently attending where Dan attended college, at Colorado State University, and Quinn Anna, is a senior at Highlands Ranch High School.
Dan is also survived by his father, Terry Anna (Carolyn), and his brother, Dutch Anna (Martha, sons, Colton and Miles). He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anna.
Known for his deep appreciation of nature, Dan found joy in fishing, hunting, bird watching, camping, and sports. Whether casting a line or spotting birds on a quiet trail, he was always most at peace outdoors. Above all, Dan was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, and a loyal friend to many.
A memorial service to celebrate Dan’s life will be held on May 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Jubilee Fellowship Christian (9359 E Nichols Ave. Centennial, CO 80112). Heflebower Funeral Home is honored to assist the Anna family during this time.
Dan will be laid to rest where his and Julie’s family story began—near Roxborough, Colorado, at Seven Stones Botanical Garden Cemetery.
Dan’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will live on in all who knew him.
