Dan was a great man as my parents went to him for the best meat possible and then I did and now my daughter does. I remember a story my parents told me a few times; how he would meet my parents on a Saturday morning before they would open and let my mom shop without the bustle of all the other customers. Casey´s market always made you feel like family, and they always will. It is such a shame to lose such a wonderful man as Dan, he will always be remembered in our hearts as the sweetest man of great morale who ever lived.

Mark and I met Dan at the Western Springs store many many years ago. He was so kind and knowledgeable and of course the meat and everything else in the store was/is fantastic. He will be greatly missed! Rest In Peace Dan. Our condolences to the family and every life he touched!

Dan Casey was one of the good guys. He was an important pillar of our community not just because he was a successful business owner who welcomed friends and new comers alike to his store but he was also a generous philanthropist supporting so many worthy causes with his time, insight and funding.

Prayers for Jill, Colleen and the rest of Dan's family.

Rest peacefully friend.
