Nancy E. Gradl, age 79, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away

peacefully on February 2, 2026 at The Auberge of Naperville. She was born on

January 11, 1947 in Chicago, IL.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, David A. Gradl; her loving

sons, Timothy (Denise), Daniel (Colleen) and Andrew (Renea) Gradl; her

cherished grandchildren, Silas, Liam, Lilly, Lucas, Chloe and Charles Gradl; her

dear siblings, Patricia (Frank) Carlson, Linda (Carl) Ehlers-Michaud, Carol (Vince)

Bellendir, and Harvey (Bobbi) Ehlers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn (nee Bleatman) and Harvey

Ehlers, and her sister, Jean Bulfin.

Nancy grew up in Lombard and was a graduate of Glenbard West High School in

Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She worked as an administrative assistant at Motorola in

Schaumburg before devoting 47 years to being a loving homemaker. Nancy

treasured time spent with her husband, and together they shared a love of travel

and outdoor activities, including camping, skiing, biking, and tennis. She also

found great joy in gardening and crafting, pursuits that reflected her creativity and

care for others.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Doctors Without Borders and

Alzheimer's Association.

A private visitation for family has been held.
