Britney Doyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Forsythe Gould Funeral Home on Feb. 6, 2026.
Britney Ann Doyle, age 37, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband of nine years, Patrick Doyle; her three beloved daughters, Abigail Doyle, Alaina Doyle, and Alexa Doyle; her father-in-law, Kevin (Patricia) Doyle; her mother-in-law, Deborah (Frank) Cogswell; her brother, Larry Kucera; her sister-in-law, Nicole (Arron) Sain; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Randy and Jeanne (Dinella) Behling.

Britney was a devoted wife, a loving and selfless mother, and the heart of her family. She was a graduate of Glenbard West High School and College of DuPage, and she spent several years working as an office manager for an IT company, where she was known for her dedication and reliability. Later, Britney chose to stay home to raise her daughters, a role she cherished deeply, while also selflessly becoming a caregiver for her mother, an act that reflected her compassion, strength, and unwavering sense of responsibility to those she loved.

Britney had a vibrant personality and wide-ranging interests. She was a devoted fan of the ID Channel, loved scary movies, country music, and line dancing, and had a special fascination with all things zombies and serial killers. Balancing her darker curiosities, Britney also found joy in the beach, painting and crafting, physical fitness, and her deep love for all animals. These passions brought levity, laughter, and connection to her life and those around her.

Above all else, Britney was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, and friend. She poured her heart into her family and relationships and leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion. She has left us far too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Per Britney's wishes, she will be cremated following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be most appreciated.
