Dan Embry Jr., 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Dan was a proud veteran and patriot. He used his Air Force training and worked as a diesel mechanic for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing cards, dog sports, and cheering for Kentucky Wild Cats. Dan will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on October 3, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky to Daniel and Sara (DeMarsh) Embry.
Dan is survived by his Father, Daniel Ray Embry, Sr., Mother, Sara Jane Embry; Loving Wife of 32 Years, Ann Marie Embry; Son, Alexander D. (Megan) Embry; Grandchildren, Julius and Mayvis Embry; Brother, Jon (Tabitha) Embry; Beloved Dogs, Jedi and Deci, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
