Dan McCain

Daniel Matthew McCain passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on July 23, 2023. He was 31 years old. The eldest son in a family of five boys, Dan is survived by his devoted parents, Mary Jane (nee Loughery) and Kevin McCain; brothers, Sam McCain (Leeny), Pat McCain (Sarah), Jake McCain (Danielle), and Seamus McCain; and his beautiful niece, Kennedy McCain. Dan leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the McGlinchey, Loughery, Ryan, Tarpey, and Hartman families.
Dan "DMAC" McCain loved life. Dan grew up in Jamison, PA and was a member of St. Cyril of Jerusalem parish. He graduated from Central Bucks South High School in 2010 and since graduating, has worked for Linecom Inc. Dan was also the Founder and CEO of DJ Danny Boy Productions, famous for his #DJDannyBoy song of the day. In addition, Dan will be remembered as Co-founder of Pretty Boy Nation.
Dan believed in faith, family, and football. Throughout his life, Dan was the number one fan for all his family members. Whether it was live on the field, or on TV, Dan never missed a snap. He was the ultimate "football guy". Along with his passion for football, Dan also enjoyed and supported his Phillies and Sixers.
Dan's favorite place in the world was on 14th Avenue in North Wildwood, NJ. He spent each summer sitting on the beach and enjoyed posting his golden hour report from the front porch, which everyone who knew him looked forward to. In addition to relaxing and listening to music, Dan enjoyed playing baggo with his family and friends.
Dan changed the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, loyalty, honesty, strength, and love. Dan was most happy just being one of the guys.
Family and friends are invited to Dan's Life Celebration on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at McGhee Givnish Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. There will be ample parking available at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church located one block away. A second gathering will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:45AM at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18966. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00AM. Dan will be laid to rest at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's name may be sent to the Believe & Achieve Foundation's Wheels Up Project and/or to the Autism Cares Foundation.
