Dan Pressley Stowe Jr., born on September 4, 1957, in Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on September 30, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina. He departed this world comfortably, surrounded by his beloved children.

Dan was a dedicated professional who served as a Certified Weld Inspector at Geotechnologies Inc. for over 14 years, retiring on November 30, 2023. His commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail were evident throughout his career.

A man of many talents and passions, Dan found joy in playing the piano and organ, sharing his musical gifts with numerous churches in the area for more than 40 years. He was a graduate of Northwest Guilford High School in Oak Ridge, NC, class of 1975, and was an active member of both Bethel United Methodist Church and Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Dan had a profound love for golf, both as a player and a spectator, and cherished moments spent on the green. He also enjoyed quiet evenings by the fireplace, immersing himself in books, and held a keen interest in the early NASA Apollo missions.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Ann Harbin Stowe and Dan Pressley Stowe Sr., and his sister, Jennifer Ann Stowe, who was his twin. Dan leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his son Jacob Stowe and wife Angel; his daughter Jessica Callahan and husband Brian; and his adored grandchildren Bella Callahan, Rylan Callahan, Scarlett Stowe, Layla Dunlap, Madeleine Dunlap, Kadence Smith, Jayden Asher, and Alexis Asher.

While no official services are planned at this time, Dan's family and friends are encouraged to remember him in their own special ways, celebrating a life well-lived and a legacy of love, music, and dedication.
