Dana Sue Bickmore, 77, of Bethalto, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on October 1, 1947, in Carmi, IL, the daughter of Phillip and Inez (Greer) Dean. Dana married Richard Bickmore in Alton, on February 14, 1998. He preceded her in death in 2020.
Dana worked as an LPN at Christian Hospital Northeast until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Godfrey. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children, Kenneth (Molly) Harrison of Alton, Jennifer (Todd) Sawyer of Bethalto, and Pamela Isakson of Alton; and four grandchildren, Zachary Hamann, Olivia Hamann, Peyton Sawyer, and Hunter Sawyer.
Along with her parents and husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Terry McKinzie will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to Our Lady Queen of Peace Food Pantry.
