I must admit, I'm shocked - So Sorry Mari. Gary was quite a friend, wished you guys never left Columbus - but the need to always be doing something new and travelling to different areas of the world was just so much a part of your life's.
Glad to have an opportunity to watch you build a dream house only to jump into another dream house far from Columbus. (I still have your ladders). Our economy of scale didn't separate your friendship from us, always making us feel welcomed. You are so inviting, I'll never forget Gary's compliments to me and his spiritual leadership towards me. He was a natural-born leader no doubt. Still remember the one day I saw him in the gym, I was an invited guest and he was shock to see me there, thinking I could afford such a membership.
looking forward to the reunion when we can all catch up in the world of spirits.

Gary and Mari are our friends and neighbors. His sudden passing has broken our hearts. Gary was such a generous man always offering to help when we needed assistance. Quite often when we were out of town, upon returning, we would discover that Gary had taken it upon himself to see that thoughtful tasks were done for us while we were gone. His quiet unassuming manner was a powerful example of his personal integrity and kind spirit. The world has lost a great man. We, along with so many others, will miss him.

We were heartbroken to hear of Gary´s passing. I feel truly blessed to have had the privilege of working alongside him during our years with Super Food Services and Nash Finch. Gary wasn´t just a coworker-he was a man of great integrity, a trusted mentor, and above all, a loyal friend.
Though our careers eventually led us down different paths, I always cherished the opportunities to reconnect with him, even if only by phone. Gary´s passion for his work and his unwavering dedication to our industry set a standard of excellence that inspired everyone around him. Beyond his professional achievements, he had a way of making people feel valued and respected-a rare quality that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
His loss will be felt deeply, not only by Mari, his children, and grandchildren, but also by an industry and community that he gave so much of himself to. While his absence leaves a void, the memories of his kindness, leadership, and friendship will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mari, his family, and all who loved him. Hold tight to the countless moments you shared and the legacy of love and strength he leaves behind.
With deepest sympathy,
Jim and Janet Donnelly

Gary was one of a kind and a great business partner. You never had to worry about where you stood with Gary because he was honest and upfront, and told you the way it was! Truly a man of high character, who cherished his wife and kids and grand kids, I loved hearing about all of them on my calls! May his memories live on forever.

As a business associate, I will remember Gary has a kind and respectful vendor partner. I enjoyed hearing about his family and his travels. My sympathies.
