Dana Cull Obituary

CULL, Dana Jackson "D.J."- age 23 of Hendersonville passed away September 20, 2013. D.J. was a 2009 graduate of Hendersonville High School. He loved football and was a linebacker for the Hendersonville Commandos. He was also a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. D.J. worked for Bob Frensley Chrysler Jeep Dodge. He will always be remembered for being kind, thoughtful, courteous, outgoing and loving. D.J. had a smile that would light up any room; he truly had a beautiful soul who never met a stranger. He was wise beyond his years always having the ability to talk to anyone about almost anything. He had a passion for music, especially Hank Williams, Jr. D.J. had several hobbies but he truly loved being in the woods hunting with his dogs and playing his guitar. In the short time here on earth he touched many lives. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Sue Hyde. He is survived by his parents, Dana & Dena Cull; brother, Daly Cull; grandparents, Jack & Judy Sikes and Billy Joe & Noma Barton; several very special aunts, uncles, friends and his loving companions, Waylon & Roscoe. A Life Celebration service will be held on Wednesday at 2p.m. at Hendersonville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Daly Cull, Kent Thacker, Parker McCall, Nick Yazzie, Kevin Stephens, Andrew Hight, Austin Clinard & Casey Stockwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tysen Ellis, Colt Martin, Kerry B. Wix, Jared Armstrong, Chad Pennington, Nick Love, Eric Hight, Taylor Bozeman, Jesse Keith Whitely, Nick Southgate and a host of Commandos. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-8p.m. and also on Wednesday from 12-2p.m. in the worship center at the church.
