Dana Deneen Hayes gained her angel wings with her family by her side on, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.
Dana was born July 5, 1964, in Warren County Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dorothy Davidson. She was a graduate of Warren East High School and a member of the Mt. Zion Church, Nashville, Tennessee.
Dana was married on March 23, 1987, to the love and joy of her life, Effort Hayes, Jr., in Springfield, Tennessee. To this union, a son, Joshua, was born. The memories they have shared are priceless.
Dana was formerly employed by Western Kentucky University for several years. However, her love for working with children led her to a career with the Warren County Public School System at North Warren Elementary School, until her health became a challenge. Dana enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, and playing Rummy.
The memory of Dana Deneen Hayes will be dearly missed by her husband, Effort Hayes, Jr.; son, Joshua Hayes; bonus son, Anthony Dedner; sisters, Faye Martin, Gwen Coats, and Janell Wood; mother-in-law, Zelma Orr; sisters-in-law, Sherry Wilkinson and Stavin Halsel; brother-in-law, Christopher Hayes (Vickey); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Along with her mother, Dana was preceded in death by father-in-law, Rev. Gus Orr; brother-in-law, Clarence Martin; and sister-in-law, Stephanie Fant.
Sincerely,
-Your friends at Burnam and Son
