Dana L. Nagel, 73, of Boyertown, passed away suddenly early Thursday morning, December 4, 2025, at his home.
Born October 10, 1952, in Pottstown, Dana was the son of the late David A. and Evelyn F. (Reigner) Nagel. His wife of 44 years, Susan L. (Angstadt) Nagel, passed awa on March 20, 2022.
Dana worked for Superior Tube, Limerick for over 35 years. He was a lead man and a line supervisor throughout the years. He also worked as hotel manager for the Gilbertsville Hotel from 1974 to 1984. He was a social member of the Bally Fire Company, the Boyertown Orioles, Nest 22, a longtime member of the Boyertown YMCA, and could often be found spending time at his brother and sister-in-law's bar, the Rathskeller, Boyertown.
Dana was a 1970 graduate of Boyertown High School. He loved playing bingo, watching old game shows on the game show network, enjoyed the three stooges and Beavis and Butthead, playing cards and shooting pool with his friends, especially Texas Hold'em, golfing and watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Dana is survived by his two sons, Derek A. Nagel, husband of Marcie L. (Arvonen) Nagel, Aldie, VA, and Ryan A. Nagel, Norwood, PA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Derek Jr., Devin, Savanna, Carson and Trinity.
Along with his parents, and his wife, Susan, Dana was preceded in death by his son, Darren Nagel, his sister, Cynthia Nagel, and by his brother, Blain Nagel.
Services for Dana will be held privately by his family.
