Dana Joe Rexing

Dana Joe Rexing, 64, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Dana was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 30, 1961 to the late Donald Ray Rexing and Dora Lea (Silver) Rexing Beaton. He attended Marian Day School and Evansville ARC and participated in Special Olympics for many years. Dana had a great love for music and loved to sing. He enjoyed traveling with his family. He had an amazing spirit and a big personality full of joy, love and laughter.

Dana is survived by his siblings, Debra Rexing, Denise Rexing, Dennis Beaton (Carla); nieces and nephews, Destinee Schmitt (Nick), Ian Brooks, William Beaton, Deanna Beaton (Adam), Christa Thomas, Kerra Moore (Nathan); great-niece, Gracelyn Brooks and by many other great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dana was preceded in death by his parents; step-dad, Bob Beaton; and by his sister, Gayle Ann Thomas.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at All Saints Parish St. Anthony Catholic Church Campus, 704 First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710 with Father Ted Tempel celebrating.

Friends may visit from 9:00 am until Mass time at the church on Saturday.
