Obituary
Funeral services for Dana M. Wainwright, 58, of Warner Robins will be held on Saturday June 17, 2023, at 4 pm in the chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Dana passed away Thursday June 15, 2023, at Pine Pointe Hospice. She was employed with Robins Air Force Base for forty plus years working in various departments with her last position being held as an industrial engineering technician.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harvey Lewis Wainwright and Ruby Penney Wainwright; maternal grandparents Maurice Clay Wright and Ida Hollis Wright; her mother, Sylvia Anderson; one aunt, Rosebud Wright Strong; two uncles, Mickey Wainwright, and Duane Wright.
Survivors include one daughter, Cassidy Wainwright of Warner Robins; father, Gene Wainwright of Reynolds; one sister, Paula Wainwright Rodgers of Perry FL; one aunt, Gayle Cody (Robert) of Roberta; two nephews, Tyler Matthews (Catherine) of Mississippi and Wade Rodgers of Americus, along with a special group of girlfriends she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held Saturday June 17th from 2-4pm at the funeral home.
