Dane Devier Obituary
Allen was born in Edinburg, VA on April 28, 1974, son to Dane Allen Devier Sr. and Carolyn Horton Devier. He worked in the Insurance business for many years and as a Chef in various restaurants in Fayetteville and Virginia. Allen was known to enjoy life and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Dane Allen Devier Sr. and his grandfather Donn Devier.
Allen is survived by his mother, Carolyn Whaley and husband Wendell of Fayetteville, NC; his son; Dane Allen Devier III of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Dawn Devier of Fayetteville, Tracey Hess and husband Wayne of Suffolk, VA; step sisters, Allison Whaley of Raleigh, Ashley Pearson and husband Kennon of Garner and a host of extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at LaFayette Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow the service at Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Andi Woodhouse will officiate the services.

I worked with Allen for a brief time at Total Insurance in Fayetteville. He was always fun to work with, and had very loyal customers wait to see him. He was a good guy who talked about his son every chance he got. I'll never forget the excitement when he brought an old CD case and let me go through and pick some I wanted. Had a mutual love of Weiner Works. He will be missed and my condolences and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.
