VALE, NC -- Dane E. Wurster passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2025 at his home in Vale, North Carolina at the age of 43. Dane was born on March 2, 1982 in Lima, Ohio to Dennis K. Wurster and Patricia (Hooker) Wurster.
He is survived by his partner Heather Wallace and brothers Dennis K. Wurster, Jr. (Colleen) of Mooresville, NC, Troy A. Wurster of Hickory, NC, Step-Mother Kathy Wurster and three special nephews Justin and Zane Wurster, Jason Deal and his very best friend Nick Arthur.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia and his loving grandparents Ned and Mary Wurster.
Dane graduated from Spencerville High School and received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, OH. After moving to North Carolina he obtained his Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree and was presently working as a private duty nurse. Dane "loved" his work and caring for those in need.
Dane will always be remembered for his sharp wit and devotion to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Donations may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.
