Danelle Kuhn passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024.

She was born in Washington DC to Frank X and Mildred Kuhn. She was the third of their five children.

She is survived by an older sister Lois Lewis of Pennsylvania, a younger sister Phyllis Boneau of New Mexico and a younger brother Frank (Chip) of Maryland as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family moved to Pennsylvania and then to Texas where Danelle attended high school as well as college. Danelle graduated from Texas Tech as a medical technologist following the path her older sisters had taken. She then moved to Denver with several friends and started a long career in the laboratory at Mercy Hospital specializing in microbiology. She particularly enjoyed teaching the med tech students in the laboratory and they in turn loved her.

While living in Denver she became a beautiful skier in the winter and a fine golfer in the summer. With another med tech friend Danelle lived in Germany for a year again working in a hospital laboratory and becoming fluent in German. She loved Colorado and its mountains and had a small cabin near Fairplay which gave her many days of joy. She also loved cats and the Denver Broncos.

Danelle loved to travel and with her sisters or her friend Auralea visited many areas of the United States, Europe and Mexico. After Mercy Hospital closed Danelle pursued her passion for gardening and become a Master Gardener. She started her own business called the Gardening Angel and helped ladies who wanted beautiful gardens but could no longer do the work themselves.

After moving to Windsor Gardens she and a friend were able to create a beautiful garden in front of their homes along the Highland Canal. It provided much joy to them as well as to the many people who walked by on a daily basis.

Danelle was a special person, daughter, sister and friend who touched many lives and is greatly missed by those she leaves behind.
