Daniel Alameda Sr., born on March 20, 1957, in Wharton, Texas, to Jose Sr. and Maria Alameda, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2025, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Daniel had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved cooking for family and friends and found joy in motorcycle riding. His competitive spirit shone through in his love of playing pool and bowling. These hobbies brought him happiness and created lasting memories for those who shared these moments with him.
Daniel spent much of his life in Texas before relocating to Wisconsin later in life. It was there that he met Dee, whom he married on July 28, 2012. Together they built a life filled with love and shared adventures.
Daniel will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May the memories of his vibrant life bring comfort to his family and friends during this time of loss
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Dee Alameda; his children, Mary Jane (Javier Rodriguez) Alameda, Aftan (Raul Puente) Puente, Daniel (Jennifer Valenzuela) Alameda Jr., and Ariel Alameda; and his cherished grandchildren: Lily, Victor, Natalia, Marisol, Leroy, Roman, and Sophia. He is also survived by his siblings Roberto (Teodora) Alameda Sr., Raul (Esther) Gomez, Eva Tijerina, and Yolanda (Martin) Rocha, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jose Sr. and Maria, and his siblings David, Peadoso, Secudino, Diego, Jose Jr., Linda, and Anna.
Per his wishes no funeral service will be held.
