Daniel R. Aungst, Jr., 57, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Pamela (Long) Aungst for 42 years.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Daniel Sr. and Janet (Holley) Aungst.
He was trained as an installer in the Heating and Air-Conditioning industry.
Dan enjoyed flea markets, carnivals, movies, car shows, auctions, fishing, racing remote control cars and quarter midget racing with his sons.
Surviving with his wife Pamela are sons, Joshua and Jacob, both at home; brothers, Franklin A. Fistner, Jr. of Nazareth and Joseph Aungst of Kissimmee, FL; and sisters, Francine Kidd and Linda Grube, both of Coopersburg.
A Celebration of Dan's Life will be held on Thursday, July 6, at 11 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park, Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation in Dan's memory, 1900 Market Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
