Daniel J. Baratta, a prominent and deeply respected business owner (Dan-Bar) of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Daniel later made Orlando his home, where he built both a successful life and the well-known business Dan-Bar. He was admired for his strong work ethic, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family and community.
Daniel was the beloved husband of Kathleen and a devoted father to his children: Anna, Angeline, Danielle (Rebecca), Teressa, Marissa (Enrique Jr.), Kristine, and Mathew. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jesus, Gabriel, Abigail, Madison, Jordyn, Amelia, Ben, Jacob and Emma
He is survived by his Wife Children, sisters, Joan Pesta and Carla Koziel; nephew B.J.; niece Emily; and cousins Angie Khoury and Lucille Shubilla.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Baratta; his brother Joey; his son Daniel Jr.; and his nephew Chris.
Daniel will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the lasting legacy he leaves through the many lives he touched
