Daniel Michael Barrins, age 35 passed away on August 1 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday August 7 at 2:30 pm at the The Gathering Place Church of the Nazarene followed by a time of fellowship with the family until 5:30 pm. Rev. Jimmy Beck and Pastor Barry Tucker will officiate.
Daniel Micheal Barrins was born February 18th 1989. He met his wife Charis while working at a daycare in 2011. He knew from the moment he met her that she was the one he wanted to spend his life with and they fell deeply in love and were married in June of 2012. They raised two beautiful children together- Emmett and Aria. They were Dans world. His top priority was to make sure his kids knew he loved them. He came from a loving family. His parents Mike and Barb raised him to be a great man. And he fulfilled that all of his days. He was the oldest of his siblings. He was the protector from the beginning. He took care of his siblings - Patrick, Annie and Ben from the moment they were born.
When he married Charis, he gained a very big and very loud family, but that never intimidated him. He naturally stepped in and loved them as his own and became a protector again. Dan loved deeply and well. He knew how to show people he cared for them and he never missed a moment to show it. If anyone asked him for something, he gave it generously and anything else he could give.
He will be missed deeply. Until we meet again my love.
He leaves behind a large and wonderful family. His wife Charis, their two children Emmett and Aria. His parents Mike and Barb who were lovingly called Nona and Koko by his kids. His brothers Patrick and Ben. His sister Annie and brother-in-law James and their daughter Sally. His Aunt Maggie (his Buddy) who was like a second mom to him. His Aunt and Uncle Katie and Mark Polignone and their kids Josh and Jessica. His Aunt Lynn. His maternal grand parents Tom and Barb Powers (who lovingly called each other “pig”.) His wife’s family including his father-in law, four sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws and eleven nieces and nephews. And countless others.
Norton Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the Barrins family.
