Daniel A. Beaird, 72, of Canton, passed away at 2:39 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Graham Emergency Room in Canton. He was born on September 15, 1952, in Canton, a son of William C. Beaird and Evelyn Thompson whom proceed him in death.
Daniel married Geralyn Zasadzinski June 21, 1975, in Chicago, she survives. Also surviving is his daughter; Laura (Justin) Howard of Canton, and granddaughter Aimee (Michael Arnett) Kalb, brother; William L. Beaird of Bartonville, sister; Sandra (Alan) Beuster of Granite City.
Daniel worked at Caterpillar as a mechanic for thirty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his farm.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory. Rev. Alan Beuster will officiate. Burial will follow the services at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
