Daniel P. Breheny

Daniel Paul Breheny, 44, of Glen Ellyn, left us unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 24th due to a sudden heart attack. Dan is survived by his parents, Denis Breheny and Paula (DiLorenzo) Breheny, and his two sisters, Cristin Breheny and Kerry Brennan. He is also survived by a large family of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, all who he loved dearly. He leaves behind many great friends, old and new, plus a network of acquaintances that felt Dan's presence in their lives.
Dan's legacy and infectious laughter will not soon be forgotten. He was a fast friend to many and was always there to provide a helping hand to anyone in need. Dan's gift of kindness, humor, loyalty, and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, along with his passion for fishing and skiing.
From a young age, you could find Dan beaming with joy as he held a fishing pole in his hand. That same level of enthusiasm never faded as he continued his fishing hobby as an adult. Dan rallied friends to join him in countless days on the lake, participating in fishing tournaments and on annual fishing trips to Minnesota.
His memory will continue to have a lasting effect on all who had the opportunity to cross paths with Dan and we encourage you to join us as we honor the life he had with us.
Visitation Friday, May 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM (Prayer Service Time Pending Friday Evening) at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Wheaton, IL. A private interment service to lay him to rest will be held with immediate family.
