Daniel Bunkley Obituary
Daniel Bunkley, age 62, of Baxley passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Candler County Hospital in Metter after a brief illness.
Mr. Bunkley was born October 15, 1962 in Appling County. He worked construction for Bax-Steel and was known for his friendly sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Skyler Horton; father, Donald Bunkley; and stepfather, Melvin “Reb” Mabry.
Survivors include his son, Adriel Conner (Breanna) Bunkley of San Diego, California; mother, Wanda Mabry of Baxley; siblings, Duane Mabry of Baxley, Diane McLeod of Middleburg, FL, Delores Evans of Surrency, Darlene McCoy of Vidalia and Donna Jones Walker of North Augusta, SC. Two grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Beckworth-Swinson Cemetery with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
