Daniel Cervantes Obituary

Daniel Valencia Cervantes, known by many as "Danny Boy," a spirited soul known for his hearty laughter and immense love for life, passed away suddenly on January 26, 2026, in Pomona, California. Born on June 16, 1975, in Mexico, Daniel's journey led him to Romoland, where he grew up embraced by the warmth of his family and community. His presence brought joy to all who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt.

From a very young age, Daniel's work ethic shone brightly. He dedicated over three decades to skillfully operating heavy machinery, a testament to his enduring commitment and strength. Daniel's entrepreneurial spirit also led him to venture into business as the owner and operator of Stop-in-Go Smog in Perris, California, where he applied his hardworking nature and friendly demeanor.

Daniel's passions extended beyond his professional life. He was a man of many interests and talents. His love for Low Rider Cars was more than a hobby; it was a part of his identity. He was a proud and active member of the Viejitos Car Club, Riverside Chapter, where he shared his enthusiasm and camaraderie with fellow car enthusiasts. The roar of his Harley Davidson was a familiar sound to those close to him, a symbol of his free spirit and love for the open road.

In his younger days, Daniel's musical talents were on full display as the lead singer and keyboard player in a band. His musicality was just one aspect of his creative spirit. Daniel's outgoing nature made him the life of any gathering. He was a man who could light up a room with his smile and keep it bright with his humor.

Above all, Daniel was a family man. He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Jr., Raymond, & step-daughter Alena who will carry on his legacy of kindness and joy. His grandson Christian; parents, Luis and Martha Cervantes, and his siblings, Mayra and Jose Cervantes, will remember him as a beacon of love and support. Daniel's seven nieces and nephews Jose(whom he shared a birthday with), Star, Ruby, Bella, Chris, Leilany, & Alex who all knew him as the fun uncle, always ready with a joke or a hug.

Daniel's capacity to make others laugh and his likable nature made him a friend to many. He had a special way with children, whose faces would light up in his presence. To know Daniel was to know laughter, warmth, and unwavering friendship.

As we bid farewell to Daniel Valencia Cervantes, we celebrate the life of a man who was, indeed, the embodiment of love and life. His legacy will live on in the stories told, the memories cherished, and the lives he touched. Daniel's spirit, a blend of joy, music, and the hum of engines, will forever remain in our hearts.
