Daniel was born in Kingsport, TN, to Harold and Earline (Cregger) Christian. Daniel was a resident of Greene Valley Developmental Center and Sunrise Community from the age of 12 until his passing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Gwen Christian.
Daniel is survived by his loving mother, Earline. Brother, Scott (Erin) Christian. Sisters, Lora Merrill, Melissa (Shannon) Barrett, and Amy (Bobby) Vaughn, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was also loved and will be missed by his caregiver family from both Greene Valley and Sunrise Community.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, from 5:30-7:00 pm at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Cradic officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday at Christian Bend Cemetery at 11:00 am. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 am to go in procession or arrive at the cemetery by 10:50 am. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
