Daniel R. Chriszt

Daniel R. Chriszt, age 66, passed away on August 3, 2023. He was born on January 9, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Francis and Annette Chriszt. Daniel is survived by his treasured brother Reverend Dennis Chriszt, C.PP.S. and his sisters Diane Schmitt (Tom), Dori Chriszt (Steve Leight), and Donna Chriszt (Anne Grogan); nieces and nephews Candice Brodowski (the late Robert), Vickie Halfacre (Burke), Katie Andexler (Dave), Brian Chriszt (Fiancé Kelli Freeman), Andy Schmitt (Jordan), Matthew Schmitt and Clarence. Daniel is also survived by many great-nieces and great- nephews.
Daniel is proceeded in death by his brother David Chriszt.
Daniel greatly enjoyed gardening in his free time, mentoring others, and was a long-time member of AA. He also cherished spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Daniel to the Ed Keating Center, 1980 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44109.
Family will receive friends Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2-6 PM at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A mass will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date.
