Andrew J. Strand

Andrew J. Strand, age 34, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2026. He was born February 17, 1991, in St. Marys, Ohio, to Kevin and Nancy (Beigie) Strand.

Andy was a graduate of Strongsville High School and a local business owner. A member of B3 Brunswick, he was active in the local community. Andy was known for his strong work ethic, his dedication, and his love for his family and friends.

Above all else, Andy was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his beloved wife of seven years, Jaymie (Linderman) Strand, and their cherished children, Everleigh and Maverick, who meant the world to him. He was a hands-on dad who loved coaching, cheering on, and being actively involved in his children's activities.

He is also survived by his parents, Kevin and Nancy Strand; his siblings, Rick Strand and Alyssa Strand; his in-laws, David and Wendy Linderman; and many extended family members and cousins who will miss him deeply.

Andy was larger than life – boisterous, quick-witted, and always ready with a joke. He brought laughter into every room and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He could lovingly be described as a "pain in the ass," but only in the way that made people laugh harder and love him more. Beneath the teasing and humor was a man with a true heart of gold. He was a wonderful husband, the best dad, a proud son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and a loyal friend to many.

Andy's family will welcome guests from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Monday, February 16, 2026, with interment following at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
