Sandra Wojnowski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jardine Funeral Home, Inc. - Strongsville on Jan. 29, 2026.
Sandra Lee Wojnowski (née Donnan) - cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife - passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, at the age of 79 in Strongsville, Ohio, with her family by her side.

Sandie was born on January 15, 1947, in Barberton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, William Donnan; her mother, Julia Agler (née Park); and her stepfather, Gary "Dewey" Agler.

A 1966 graduate of Strongsville High School, Sandie later married Gary M. Wojnowski. She is survived by her husband; her children, Gary T. Wojnowski (Linda) and Karen L. Wojnowski; her cherished grandchildren, Holly Schneider (Christopher) and Gabriel Wojnowski; and her

great-grandchildren, Harper Lynn and Axel Lee Schneider. Aunt of Michael Maksem, Debbie Allen (Dan) and Dave Wojnowski.

Sandie was deeply loved and treasured by many friends across all parts of her life. She had a magic to her that only those who knew her will never forget - truly one of a kind. She worked at United Parcel Service (UPS) in Middleburg Heights, Ohio for over 30 years, forming many lifelong friendships along the way.

Drag racing was Sandie's passion. She loved nothing more than being at the track with her family and racing family. She was an active supporter of DRAW (Drag Racing Association of Women). Sandie was also a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 60 years, serving as Past Matron and building lasting friendships. A faithful member of

Strongsville United Methodist Church, Sandie's strong faith brings us comfort in knowing she is at peace with the Lord.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Road, Strongsville, Ohio. Reverend Abby Auman will officiate. All are invited to a light luncheon at the church following the service. A private interment will be held.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who offered prayers, love, and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Racers for Christ, DRAW (Drag Racing Association of Women) or Strongsville United Methodist Church.
