Ruth Justice Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waite Funeral Home Brunswick on Mar. 2, 2026.
Ruth Ann Justice, 77, of Columbia Station, Ohio, went to her eternal home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2026. Born March 9, 1948, in Mount Gay, West Virginia, Ruth was the beloved daughter of the late Lewis and Maloma "May" (Bryant) Bowen. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry J. Justice, with whom she shared 52 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Bowen.

Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Lana (Jeff) Wade, Todd (Michele) Justice, Christopher Justice, Carrie (Brian) Hall, and Jennifer (Nick) Timms. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Brittany (Phil), Caleb (Anne), Lauren (Benjamin), Ethan, Rachael (Nathan), Nicole, Nathaniel, Jordan (Dana), Tyler (Lindsey), Dillon (Hannah), Austin, Spencer (Bryanna), Noah (Victoria), Aaron, and Abigail; and a cherished great-grandmother to Isaiah, Lilly, Owen, Silas, Johanna, Caroline, Adelaide, Aebrie, Taedym, Landon, Kinslaey, Jaxon, Cohen, Leor, Jack, Sam, June, Emily, McKenzie, Gideon, Callan, Beckett, and Cooper. She is also survived by her siblings, Roger (Diane) Bowen and Barb (George) Auvil, her stepfather, Carlos Arnold, and many extended family members and dear friends.

Ruth was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord wholeheartedly. She dedicated much of her life to ministry, especially serving the "keenagers" at church and teaching Sunday School. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and a guiding light to those around her.

She had a joyful spirit and a love for life. Ruth enjoyed shopping, spending treasured time with her family, and traveling extensively around the world. Among her favorite destinations were Costa Rica, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Israel - places that brought her great happiness and lasting memories.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 3480 Laurel Road, Brunswick, Ohio, with visitation preceding the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Ruth will be laid to rest at Columbia Station Cemetery.

Ruth's legacy of faith, love, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Please share condolences with her family on her tribute page at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
