Sandra Justice Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Davis-Watkins Funeral Homes & Crematory - Fort Walton Beach on Mar. 2, 2026.
Sandra Justice (Sam) was born on July 18, 1969 to Annie Ruth Justice and Lewis McKoy. She passed away on February 12, 2026. If you knew "Sam" as we lovingly called her, you knew love, laughter, and friendship. She embraced life without fear and people without hesitation. She lived for being herself and enjoying life to the fullest degree. Sandra was a graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School in 1987. Soon after her graduation she continued her work in childcare for the next several years. Music was one of her favorite past times and one of her favorite musicians was the late Whitney Houston. Technology was also a favorite and she looked forward to the evolving products that technology had to offer. She had a gift for making others laugh and feel welcome in her presence. She accepted that life had good and bad but she made the best of it. Sam was also good at turning ordinary days into treasured memories. Her kindness knew no boundaries. She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back. Even when times were tough, she continued to face obstacles with grace and staying true to herself. Sam's absence leaves a void that can never be filled but her spirit will live on in the hearts that loved her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and joy will continue to guide us. We will miss you dearly Sam but we are forever grateful for the time with you and will hold you in our hearts and minds until we meet again. She's preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Annie Ruth Justice; brothers, Willie Justice and Bobby Higgins. Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Mr. Lewis McKoy (wife Gladys McKoy); brothers, Byron Higgins, James Higgins, Jonathan Higgins, and Jeffrey Lewis Ray (wife Maria Ray); Sisters, Dora Foreman (husband John Foreman), Jackie Bustamante, Caroline Brundidge (husband Tommy Brundidge), Vanessa Patterson (husband Anthony Patterson), and Erica Justice; as well as a Special friend and companion, William Swift. Her loved ones also include several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
