Michael Scott Chambers

Michael Scott Chambers, age 40, of Navarre, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his passing leaves behind a space that cannot be filled.

Michael was born on March 6, 1985, in Orlando, Florida, to an Air Force family, and spent his childhood traveling and living in Illinois, England, South Carolina, Germany, Alaska, and Florida. Through these experiences, he formed many lifelong friendships. He graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School.

Michael is survived by his beloved son, Bodhi; his parents, JoAnne and David Chambers; his brothers, Matthew, and Miles Chambers; his sister-in-law, Shelby; his nephew, Harrison; and his niece, Hattie.

Michael was a special friend to many and was always willing to go out of his way to help those in need. From an early age, he demonstrated leadership and camaraderie through youth sports, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and the Order of the Arrow. He also served as a member of the U.S. summer camp staff at Camp Freedom in Germany.

An artist in the kitchen, Michael built a culinary career spanning many years in both high- volume and fine-dining restaurants. He was dedicated to mastering his craft and generously shared his knowledge with others. His true professional passion, however, was Information Technology. He earned Microsoft and Apple certifications and worked for several companies throughout Northwest Florida. Whether personally or professionally, Michael was always eager to help. With his characteristic humor, he often referred to himself as a "self-taught graduate of Google University."

A celebration of life for Michael Chambers will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, at his family home in Navarre, Florida.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Michael's name to the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center.
