CWO4 Daniel Earl "Dan" Cole

COLE, DANIEL EARL "DAN", CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER 4 - age 41 of Knoxville, formerly of Henderson, TN passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011. He was a full time member of the Tennessee Army National Guard at AASF #2 as an OH - 58D test pilot and maintenance examiner. He was also an instructor pilot for "C" troop 1st Squadron, 230th Cavalry. Dan graduated from Chester Co. High School in 1988 and attended Freed - Hardeman University and was currently enrolled with the University of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Dorothy Cole of Henderson, TN, and J.W. and Ola Johnson of Henderson, TN. Dan was survived by his loving wife, Deanna Hall Cole; daughter, Lauren Cole; son, Logan Cole; parents, John and Sue Cole of Henderson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth L. Naylor and Anthony Naylor and Rebecca F. Ada and Brian Ada; 26 aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins. A memorial service honoring Dan's life will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday at Laurel Church of Christ with Rev. Wayne Miller officiating. Interment to follow at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 with Full Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 12:30 Friday at Laurel Church of Christ.
