COLLINS, Daniel Paul, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at his home.

Dan was a retired maintenance supervisor for General Mills, a catholic by faith, an Air Force veteran and a proud graduate of DeSales High School, class of 1965.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Collins; bonus son, Nick Burton.

Dan is survived by his wife, Alice Collins; children, Tony Collins (Ginger), Dana Board (Michael) and Christopher Collins; bonus children, Tim Burton (Becky) and Sean Burton (Becky); 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert "Bob" Collins (Charlene), Tim Collins (Sandy), David Collins (Kim) and Janet Lee (Kevin); and fur babies, Sissy, Buddy and Buster.

His celebration of life service will be held Friday, September 12th, 5:30 p.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org
