Daniel Corpe, age 80, of Canton, passed away July 25, 2025.
Dan was born April 25, 1945, in Canton, OH, to the late Tony and Mary Corpe.
He attended McKinley high school. Dan served in the United States Air Force from …. and was stationed at Whiteman Airforce Base in Missouri, where he was promoted to Staff Sargeant. After his time in the military, Dan met his first wife, the late Deborah Corpe (Alexander). Together, they raised three children. After her passing, Dan married Annette Corpe (Bickis) in 1985. Dan worked in the automotive industry his entire career, starting with Metal Sheer Operating and ending with Volvo General Motors. Dan was a dedicated father and husband and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Annette Corpe; children Teresa Friley, Joe (Katie) Corpe and Jeremy (Angela) Corpe; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; and brother Manuel “Bud” (Elaine) Corpe.
In addition to his first wife, Debbie and his parents, Dan is preceded in death by brother Sam Corpe.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 10 AM – 11 AM, at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, where a Memorial Service will promptly follow at 11 AM. Inurnment with full military honors will immediately follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH, at 1:15 PM.
