Daniel Deitrick

Daniel Scott Deitrick, age 53, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on September 15, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky, the beloved son of Kala (née McClimans) Deitrick and the late Delbert Deitrick.

Dan worked as a Service Advisor for Honda of the Avenues, where he was well known for his dedication and strong work ethic. A passionate football fan, he proudly supported the Baltimore Ravens-his favorite team-as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Florida Gators. Dan's big personality and infectious spirit made him the life of the party, and he was truly a friend to everyone he met. His larger-than-life presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dan is survived by his mother, Kala Deitrick; his children, Tyler Scott Deitrick, Leah Deitrick, and Christopher Baker; his granddaughter, Willow; and his brothers, Todd Deitrick (Nicole) and Andrew Deitrick (Valarie).

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00pm at Dick's Wings, located at 10550 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257. A private, family-only burial will take place at a later date.

Dan's laughter, kindness, and unforgettable presence will live on in the many memories shared by those who loved him, and his spirit will forever remain in their hearts.
