He is survived by his beloved wife, Magdalena Gomez Delgado, and his cherished children: Daniel Delgado Jr. (Bertha Macias Delgado), Sergio Ivan Delgado (Nora Arroya Delgado), Luis Eduardo Delgado, LTC (Ret) U.S. Army, (Carol Lizeth Arreola Delgado), and Dariela Delgado Trevino (Juan Carlos Trevino).
A proud grandfather, he leaves behind his grandchildren: Andrea Lopez Delgado (Gerald Lopez), Daniel Eduardo Delgado, Allison Delgado (David Contreras), Sabrina Delgado Ibarra (Martin Ibarra), Sergio Delgado Jr. (Dezirae Flores), Caroline Miliani Delgado, Katherine Iliana Delgado, Juan Carlos Jr., and Paola Trevino.
His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Sebastian Lopez, Natalia Flores, Emma Contreras, and Lucas Delgado. Daniel was a man of integrity and generosity, always a leader. As a house painter in Del Rio, Texas, who took immense pride in his work, not only mastering it himself but also passing it on to others. He was always willing to teach those who wanted to learn and provide opportunities for those in need, ensuring that his trade lived on through his children and many individuals he employed. His selflessness and dedication to helping others left a lasting impact on his community.
Above all, Daniel was a leader of his family, always striving with goodwill, supporting his loved ones, and uplifting those around him with his positive spirit. He deeply cared for his parents- Aurelio and Gregoria, brothers- Carlos, Rogelio, Luis, and sister Marisela, and his greatest joy was his family. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering strength will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
