Daniel Deprizio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Michaels Funeral Home and Cremation Care on Mar. 5, 2024.
Daniel John DePrizio
A Resident of Downers Grove for 10 years
Formerly of Hanover Park
Daniel John DePrizio, 52, passed away February 28, 2024 in Downers Grove, Illinois. He left an incredible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.
He was born April 23, 1971 in Chicago, to the late Basil and Patricia (nee Lugiai) DePrizio. Daniel's wisdom was beyond his years, matched only by his woodworking talents and culinary skills. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, personally handcrafting beautiful woodwork for his loved ones. When he wasn't building one of his beautiful bookshelves or buffet tables, you could find him in the kitchen, cooking or baking a few of his special dishes. He was never shy to share a recipe for a meal or dessert that everyone loved.
Above all, he will be remembered for his incredibly huge heart. With a smile that could light up a room and a heart that knew no bounds, Daniel touched the lives of all who knew him. His spirit lives on in the memories he created and the love he shared.
Daniel was the loving brother to Janet Nyman, Joseph DePrizio, Thomas DePrizio, Sharon (Lynn) Davidson, Mary DePrizio, Annette (Rick) Hall, and Kenneth (Kathy) DePrizio; beloved uncle to Eileen, Lisa, Stephanie, Robin, Megan, Ryan, Brianne, John, and Mike; dear friend and neighbor to many. He is preceded in death by his sister Patricia DePrizio and niece Alexandria.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00pm at Michaels Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.
