On October 6, 2025 Daniel M. DiFrancesco, age 94, passed away surrounded by his loving family. He was the Son of the late Thomas & Emma Madonna DiFrancesco. He was born in Kennett Square, PA and grew up in Wilmington, DE. He was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
Danny was predeceased by his Wife of 49 years, Helene Woolsey.
Danny was a graduate of Brown Vocational and worked as a printer with Dupont until he retired. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He was a great cook and loved having his family for Sunday dinners.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel(Judi), George(Ally)
Thomas(Vicki), and Michael(Pat).
He will be missed by his Grandchildren Dan Jr.(Maggi), Vito(Lindsay), Julia, Jenna, Lexi(Joel), George Jr., John, Tommy Jr., Jennifer(Norm), Ian(Heather) & Great Grandchildren Adrianna, Rocco, Destiney, Abigail, Liam, Henry, Stella, Penelope and Logan.
Tuesday, October 14, 2025 Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 901 N. Dupont Street, Wilmington, DE 19805 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be at Catherdral Cemetary after funeral mass.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Veterans Home in Milford who lovingly cared for Danny while he resided there.
