MILLBURY - Daniel J. Driscoll, 58, of Millbury passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12th after a brief illness.
Danny, as he was affectionately known, was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Harris) Driscoll, a sister Catherine Fuller, and a brother Michael Driscoll, all of Millbury.
In addition to his longtime companion, Tracey Morales, he leaves behind 7 siblings, including brothers, Joseph Driscoll, and his wife, Sue of St. Augustine, Florida, Timothy Driscoll, and his wife, Flavia of Millbury, sisters, Mary Carmen Driscoll of Reno, Nevada, Elisabeth Driscoll of Sutton, Eileen Driscoll and her husband, Gordon of Reno, Nevada, Jane Driscoll of Millbury, and Gabriel Berman and her husband, Peter of San Marcos, California. He also leaves behind his beloved nephews and nieces: Paul, Mary and Anthony Fuller, Molly Morgan, David and Stephen Mendelsohn, Douglas and Katie Driscoll, Andy Ryan, Michael Wilbur, Patrick and Brittany Driscoll, and Michael and Christopher Berman.
Danny was a graduate of Worcester Academy, where he founded the prestigious History Club, and enjoyed his time as a member of the Swim Team. He also attended Northeastern University. He had many interests, was a gifted writer, and a lover of books. He worked at Harris Oil, owned by his family in Millbury for many years.
We will celebrate a Funeral Mass December 11th at 11 a.m. in St Brigid's Church, 59 N. Main St., in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Danny's name may be made to Veterans Inc, 69 Grove St. in Worcester, MA 01605.
