Thomas Andrew DRISCOLL M.D.

Thomas Andrew Driscoll, 91, passed away peacefully in his Spokane, WA, home on August 30th, 2025.

Born in Pocatello, Idaho, on September 14th, 1933, Tom attended high school at Gonzaga Prep and completed an undergraduate degree at Gonzaga University, maintaining a longstanding relationship with Gonzaga, serving on the Board of Regents from 1994 to 2005. He received his medical degree from the University of Washington Medical School. He had a love for medicine and especially his field of Radiology. As a senior partner of Spokane Diagnostic Radiology, and a cofounder of Northwest Imaging, Tom oversaw many life-saving advancements during his medical career. Tom was also a devoted Catholic, serving on his Parish Council and on the board of the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Washington for 24 years.

Outside of the hospital, Tom was an avid reader and world traveler. He recently recollected visiting over 40 countries, and all seven continents. He enjoyed the outdoors in the northwest, summers at the lake, bird hunting, but especially playing golf with friends and family members. Family was the most important thing to Tom, and he will be most remembered as the leader of a large, loving family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, John Francis Driscoll and Patricia Geraghty-Driscoll; siblings, Dr. Jack Driscoll and Mary Higgins; and his granddaughter, Kelsey Driscoll.

Tom is survived by his wife, Karen (Pedersen) Driscoll; sister, Anne Carr; his children, Sean Driscoll (Dawn), Kevin Driscoll (Jackie), Kristen Stevenson (Scott), Kolleen Murray (Dan), Burke Driscoll (Elizabeth), Tim Driscoll (Ellen), and Kathleen Wilson (Tom); as well as18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on September 12th, at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception at Manito Golf and Country Club.
