Daniel Michael Dudrick, of West Chester, PA, passed away August 25, 2024.
Born December 22, 1946 in Nanticoke, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley and Stephanie (nee Jachimczak) Dudrick.
He honorably served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Daniel was a graduate of Luzerne County Community College and worked as a Police Officer, in Lower Merion and West Chester University, and was a Driving Instructor with the Police Academy.
He was a member of the Lower Merion FOP, the National Law Enforcement Memorial, and attended St. Maximillian Kolbe Church. Above all Daniel loved spending time with his family, especially his 6 grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan and loved collecting baseball cards. He enjoyed supporting the Phillies, Penn State football, and College Basketball.
Daniel was the beloved husband of Peggy J. (nee Leaming) Dudrick; loving father of Daniel M. Dudrick Jr. (Charita), Stephanie M. Dudrick Friel (Mark), and Thomas F. Dudrick; adoring grandfather of Justin Dudrick, Dalton Dudrick, Michael Friel, Margot Friel, James Dudrick, and Brie Dudrick; and dear brother of Irene Dudrick Brown (George) and brother-in-law of Theresa Dudrick. He was predeceased by his siblings: Dr. Stanley J. Dudrick and Sonia Dudrick Gold.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
