Louise Gerstemeier Obituary
Louise Gerstemeier (nee Burgess), age 94, of West Chester, PA, passed away on February 15, 2026.
Born in Upper Darby, PA in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Freda (nee Moll) Burgess. Louise was a longtime employee at QVC. In her spare time, she volunteered at the Chester County Hospital and at the Cat Angel Network. Louise loved animals, especially cats.
Louise was the beloved wife of the late John W. Gerstemeier; loving mother of Joanne Preston, Barbara Savini (Warren), Richard Gerstemeier (Patricia), and Donna Donato (Mark); adoring grandmother of Mark Preston, Jessica Cichocki, Jacqueline Brodsky, Monica Pokrass, Mark Donato, and Melissa Donato and great-grandmother of Paige, Wesley, Luca, June, and Jackson.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Thursday, February 26, 2026 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Cat Angel Network, https://catangel.org/base/, would be appreciated.
